Serving audiences throughout northern New Hampshire and Vermont, Theatre UP has become a beloved part of the White Mountains arts scene. Based in downtown Littleton, the nonprofit theatre company presents live musicals, plays, youth productions, and community programming that bring people together through shared creative experiences.

Performances take place at the historic Littleton Opera House and offer visitors and locals alike a chance to experience live theatre in the heart of the North Country. Theatre UP is known for creating productions that feel welcoming, accessible, and community-centered while showcasing the talent of local performers, volunteers, musicians, and students.

Since its founding in 1978, the organization has continued to grow its impact through arts education, workshops, and youth theatre opportunities. In 2026, Theatre UP will open Theatre UP on Main, a new arts and education center in downtown Littleton that will expand year-round programming and strengthen opportunities for creativity, learning, and community connection in the White Mountains region.
