Weathervane Theatre’s Windsock Summer Theatre Camp Opens Enrollment for 28th Season
Weathervane’s theatre day camp will return July 14 – 26.
New Hampshire’s award-winning Weathervane Theatre is pleased to announce enrollment for its summer theatre day camp – Windsock – is now open.
For over 20 years, Windsock Camp has brought campers from across the White Mountains region to the Weathervane and introduced them to the building blocks of theatre with all the fun of the typical summer day camp experience.
Grace Livingston Kramer will once again lead Windsock Camp as Executive Director. Livingston Kramer, a Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA) director and educator with international credits, is in her fourth season with the camp and her sixth season with Weathervane Theatre.
Known for her work on and off stage, Livingston Kramer is Weathervane’s company manager and a resident acting company member. Her stage credits include Rosie in Mamma Mia!, Missy in Winter Wonderettes, and her New Hampshire Theatre Alliance Award-nominated turn as Peaseblossom in Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Livingston Kramer has also served as a guest director for Weathervane Theatre’s Patchwork Players for three seasons (Tommie Sawyer, Pinocchio, and Cinderella).
Outside of Weathervane, Grace recently served as the Managing Director for Education at Maine’s Penobscot Theatre Company. In addition to overseeing their youth theatre programming (Dramatic Academy), Grace choreographed many Dramatic Academy productions, including The Addams Family, SpongeBob, and Coraline. She is a founding member of HEART Global, a non-profit focused on connecting students worldwide through music. Her music outreach non-profit work has taken her all over North America, Europe, and Japan, teaching students of all ages.
“Windsock Camp is back for another exciting season, and we couldn’t be more excited,” said Livingston Kramer. “Campers will create their own show with scenes and songs under the guidance of our professional theatre artists from our resident acting company and production team. A true hands-on experience in all facets, our 2025 campers will have an experience unlike any other.”
Running July 14 – 25, 2025, Windsock will offer two one-week camps for ages 6-11 and one two-week camp for ages 6-17. The camp day starts at 9 AM and ends at 4 PM and is divided into blocks of rehearsal for the camp show and blocks of instruction from Weathervane guest and resident artists covering all aspects of theatre (dance, music, Shakespeare, tech, etc.), strengthening the connection between the campers and the Weathervane resident company. Campers also receive exclusive behind-the-scenes access to Weathervane’s highly anticipated productions of Grease and Waitress. Additional perks for campers include complimentary Patchwork Players performance tickets and discounts for select Mainstage productions.
Windsock will present its final camp show on Saturday, July 26, at 10 AM on Weathervane’s outdoor stage. A complete theatrical production, the show will include elements like props, costumes, music, and a set. The camp show will only feature campers enrolled in the second week of camp (July 21 – 25).
Camp registration is now open. Camp pricing ranges from $354 – $794. Family discounts and scholarship opportunities are available. Book by Sunday, January 19th, and save up to $145. Camp registration includes the classic Windsock Camp t-shirt tye dye experience and complimentary tickets to a Patchwork Players performance at the Weathervane.
For more information and to register, visit weathervanenh.org/education. Additional inquiries can be directed to camp staff by email ([email protected]) or phone (603-837-9322).

The sensational Sierra Hull brings her virtuosic mandolin mastery along with her phenomenal band to The Colonial stage. She is a two-time GRAMMY® Nominated artist and songwriter and six-time recipient of IBMA’s Mandolin Player of the Year, the first woman to ever receive this distinction. Her live performances showcase incredible musicianship and a rare connection with her audience. Whether delivering a lightning-fast instrumental or a soul-stirring ballad, Hull’s artistry is undeniable. Don’t miss this extraordinary evening of bluegrass and beyond—get your tickets now!
About Sierra Hull:
With A Tip Toe High Wire, her first new album in five years, songwriter, singer, and award-winning mandolinist Sierra Hull has perfected the daring act of stepping into a new, progressive sonic territory while never straying too far from the bluegrass and Americana roots she’s cultivated in her two-decade-plus career. While joined on the album by world-class friends like Béla Fleck, Tim O’Brien, and Aoife O’Donovan, Hull self-produced A Tip Toe High Wire with her highly skilled touring band in the center ring—something she was able to make the call on as this is also her first album to be released entirely independently. “In some ways, it feels like stepping out into a different territory,” Hull says. “And leaning into that at this chapter of my career—the freedom of being able to be out on my own, to create with no walls for what feels like the first time—has helped me grow.” For more information visit SierraHull.com.

This race is an annual tradition for both local athletes and visitors from afar, weekend warriors, family relay teams, and everyone top notch in between. The course starts with a 6-mile bike leg through the village of Franconia, up Butter Hill, and through the beautiful White Mountain National Forest; followed by a 1/3 mile swim across pristine Echo Lake; and finishes with a 3.1 mile hike/run across the slopes of renowned Cannon Mountain. Although the climb will look a little different this year, you will not miss out on any of the vertical gain you expect year after year, and you will be rewarded for your hard work with a refreshing beer at Iron Furnace Brewing. Proceeds from the Top Notch Triathlon benefit the Lafayette Recreation Department, which comprises the communities of Franconia, Easton, and Sugar Hill. Since its inception, the Top Notch Triathlon has raised over $139,000, which has been used to support an array of projects, from building the gazebo and the new pavilion at the Dow Park to purchasing soccer goals and repaving the multi-use skating rink.
So we only have 1 question…ARE YOU TOP NOTCH?

As always, you’ll have access to instruction from our world-class faculty, focused attention on your work, and the vital exchanges of peers in workshop. Our goal is to support, refresh, and inspire you.
Spend four days with a select community of poets exploring your artistic work in the context of a rich variety of poetry ancestors and contemporaries.
Discover how poetic community can provide models, provocations and correctives to widen your thinking about your own efforts.
Learn from a distinguished and accomplished faculty how poets choose, imitate, enter into dialogue with, and sometimes argue with the work of our poetic ancestors and contemporaries.
The Seminar schedule features a daily presentation/discussion exploring aspects of craft and technique, an afternoon workshop of participants’ poems or individual, virtual meetings with faculty, and an evening reading, some by faculty poets and others featuring participants.
The Poetry Seminar will be an online experience, August 3 – 7. To participate, you’ll access the events via Zoom. Program events will take place roughly between 10:00 AM and 4:30 PM ET, with readings nightly from approximately 8-9 PM ET. We frequently have participants from all U.S. timezones and others around the globe.

Event Details
Mistaken identity, mayhem, and music run rampant in this fast-paced, physical comedy adaptation of Goldoni’s 1753 commedia, The Servant of Two Masters.
Set in England’s swinging sixties, this uproarious farce follows the mixed fortunes of failed musician Francis Henshall. Down on his luck and forever hungry, Francis suddenly finds himself employed by two bosses—who can’t know about each other. One is a woman disguised as her recently deceased infamous criminal brother while attempting to extort her dead brother’s fiancée’s dad. The other boss is her brother’s murderer, aka her boyfriend, who is hiding from the police. Simple right?

Mistaken identity, mayhem, and music

“You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.”– Mae West.
Love is in the air when two passionate Mae West fans meet at their idol’s gravesite. As their relationship blooms, they swap stories of the uniquely American icon who defiantly rejected polite society, theatrical norms, and constant censorship by being unapologetically authentic, rising from obscurity to sex symbol. “Too much of a good thing can be wonderful” in this funny and bawdy Tony-nominated musical.

Known for their electrifying blend of country and rock, this rising trio delivers a sound that’s both refreshingly modern and deeply rooted in tradition. Their heartfelt lyrics, powerful vocals, and tight, soaring harmonies have captivated fans from coast to coast, and now they’re bringing that magic to The Colonial. Don’t miss your chance to see one of country rock’s most exciting new acts light up our stage!
About the Artist:
Ashes & Arrows is a dynamic country/rock band with roots stretching from the mountains of Asheville, North Carolina, to the alps of Arrowtown, New Zealand. Known for their soaring harmonies, heartfelt lyrics, and electrifying stage presence, the band delivers a sound that captivates audiences far and wide.
Drawing inspiration from acts like NEEDTOBREATHE, Judah & The Lion, and The Avett Brothers, Ashes & Arrows creates music that is both deeply personal and universally resonant—songs that leave a lasting impression.
The band’s journey began in 2021 at an open mic night in downtown Asheville, where Ciaran McMeeken, Benjamin Voigt, and Jonathan Calhoun discovered a shared passion for storytelling through music. Their chemistry was undeniable, sparking a creative partnership that would define their early years.
From their humble beginnings to their ambitious aspirations, Ashes & Arrows continues to chart a course through the ever-evolving landscape of modern music, crafting songs that promise to echo far beyond their mountainous origins.
