Our featured soloist for this year’s Spring Gala will be pianist, EJ Hwang. In addition to being an outstanding jazz pianist, she is also a successful composer, teacher and lecturer. She will be joined by nine musicians for this magnificent performance.
George Gershwin is, by far, the most celebrated American composer in the World. Premiered exactly 100 years ago, his Rhapsody in Blue fused Jazz and western classical music in ways no one had ever done before. Come celebrate with the North Country Chamber Players as they perform this beloved work and find out the extraordinary true story of how it came to be in the first place.
