The Colonial Theatre continues its engaging and insightful Science on Screen series with the Academy Award-winning classic The Sting on Friday, September 12 at 7 PM. The e
vening features a 30-minute talk by Josh Wakeham, Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Plymouth State University. Prof. Wakeman will take audiences inside the world of con artistry, exploring how real-life scams work and why we fall for them, followed by the film and Q&A. Doors open at 6:30 PM and guests are invited to join Prof. Wakeman on the patio for a casual meet-and greet before the presentation begins. This event is part of The Colonial’s Science on Screen series with a unique blend of cinema and expert-led discussions, offering both entertainment and real-world insight into the themes of famous films.
