Christmas

Over the river and thru the Notch to the perfect old fashioned White Christmas. In the land of "Robert Frost" experience the first snows of winter, the thrill of cutting your own Christmas tree at the Rocks Estate and opening day at Cannon Mountain.

Bundle up for a horse drawn wagon ride. Sip hot chocolate or cognac, if you prefer, by a cozy fire at a romantic country inn. Beautifully decorated inns, B&Bs and shops invite the public in for a magical four town cookie tour.

Children who visit the Rocks Estate with their families to select a Christmas tree will meet a an old-fashioned Santa dressed in green and receive an evergreen seedling they can take home and plant.

A unique shopping experience awaits. From Aged Cheddar at Harman's of Sugar Hill to the new "Made in New Hampshire" Marketplace and local crafts to be found at the Rocks Estate and Wren Gallery in Bethlehem, the Sampler in Sugar Hill and the League of NH Crafters Store in Littleton. Plough Wind Antiques in Franconia and numerous other "shoppes" in the area provide the one-of-a-kind gifts that create Christmas memories for a life time and beyond.
