One of New Hampshire’s most enduring rites of spring–the maple sugar season–will be celebrated this year with fun-filled weekend programs at the historic 1,400-acre Rocks property.
Enjoy a horse-drawn wagon ride through The Rocks property and discover how to distinguish sugar maples from other species of trees. You’ll learn how to safely tap trees to collect the sap needed to make maple syrup and sugar.
A tractor-drawn wagon will carry visitors to the Maple Museum to experience a working sugar house.
The NH Maple Experience concludes with a syrup tasting, complete with the traditional donut and a Rocks sour pickle.
On March 17, Adair’s Chef, Eric Kadle, will be hosting maple cooking demonstrations at noon at The Rocks, and featuring maple-themed dishes for dinner that evening.
