Wildlife enthusiast and longtime manager of The Rocks Nigel Manley will present a program titled “Secrets of Coyotes” for the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests on February 14 at 7 p.m.
Coyotes are found in every U.S. state apart from Hawaii and in all types of different ecosystems. These fascinating animals are often misunderstood because of their interactions with people and pets.
“There’s a lot of misinformation passed along about coyotes, but people are really interested these creatures,” said Manley, who is an avid naturalist and outdoorsman and has observed coyotes while in the woods. “This prompted me to study the animals more closely, and I learned a lot while putting this program together.”
Manley has a degree from Reading University in the United Kingdom and has spent the last 30 years working for the Forest Society at The Rocks in Bethlehem, New Hampshire. The Rocks is the historic turn-of-the-cen
